Not Impressed With Scorpion EXO Optima's Night time visibility

I like the jacket, but I'm a bit concerned with how poor the visibility actually is at night. Unless you're brightly lit, it's almost invisible, even the reflective bits. A car passing me going the other way only lights the jacket up for a moment AS they go by. I'm sure that a car coming up from behind can see me fine, at least as well as they ever do. But from in front, such as someone trying to decide whether to pull out or not? I honestly expected it to be more visible, similar to how my REV'IT! Eclipse is in silver. Even the non reflective bits tend to catch any available light and show up decently.

If you have any suggestions for a comfy and practical waterproof option that's affordable, lemme know. I plan to commute on this so I need waterproof footwear at some point.
