Joshua 23 & 24

January 13, 2023 study - Joshua 23 & 24 In this final study of Joshua we look at the the overall theme of this book - courage! And Joshua’s final admonition to Israel. We also look at the next generation beyond Joshua and the leader that had the zeal to lead them into the next generation.

In the after discussion we talk about how Joshua relates to our generation and the cycles of faithfulness of one generation and how sadly they give way to the faithlessness of another. We also discuss the bones of Joseph and what it was like for Israel to finally put them to rest, finally we talk about how Jesus has sheep from another flock and how it relates to Isaiah 56 and the sons of the foreigner who join to Israel.

Also a special thanks to Carlos who helped me out with some of the prayers and blessings at the end since my voice was starting to give way!
