Free Speech Means 'Politics In Pubs' - Set Up Your Own Group

Joan Mulvenna and her friends set up 'Politics In Pubs' to help others to have the conversations that need to happen if we are to have a healthy democracy.

They are not affiliated to any political party or point of view - every opinion is just as valuable as the next.

Politics In Pubs is a group of people from across the political spectrum who:
- are interested in politics
- value the freedom to question and to speak openly
- want to play our part in the development of Britain

They meet monthly in North Manchester, usually on a Wednesday evening 7.30 to 9.30pm in a local pub - newcomers are always welcome and they are keen to support other groups. The more people meeting to talk about politics and ideas, the better!
