Deer Season 2022 - Day 13 and 14 - The End

It is the last couple days of deer season and I finally get done what I set out to do from the start.

Do I care about antlers and/or taxidermy trophies? No, I don't. Actually, I take that back. Deer hides, antlers and many other parts of the deer can be very useful for many things. Now, after this experience, I can put a check in the box that says I know the basics of how to hunt deer for food if it ever came down to a necessity.

My first year of hunting has given me a little bit of knowledge of hunting and I learnt how to skin and process my kill. Having Floyd as a mentor with his old school approach and knowledge is priceless. Am I going to be a hard core hunter? Probably not. Will I continue to hunt? Probably. Will I film another deer season hunt? Probably not. Do I know everything about deer hunting or hunting in general? Absolutely not.

I hope you enjoy watching my experience of killing my first deer.
