In this video, we'll show you how to do the half happy baby pose, a yoga asana that is great for stretching the lower back and hips. This is an excellent pose for beginners as it's relatively easy to perform and can be modified to suit your level of flexibility.

To start, lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Bring your knees up towards your armpits and then reach through the space between your legs with your hands to take hold of the outside of your feet.

If you can't reach your feet, you can use a strap or towel to help you. Keep your head and shoulders on the ground and press your lower back down towards the floor. Hold the pose for 30 seconds to a minute, and then release.

As you get more comfortable with the pose, you can try to straighten your legs, but make sure to only go as far as you can without straining or causing pain.

Remember to keep your breath steady and deep throughout the pose, as well as stay relax as much as possible. With regular practice, you'll notice an improvement in your lower back and hip flexibility.
