Rolling blackouts are a real threat this winter, especially where we are in West Virginia. Follow along as I build a bike generator for my HOUSE!

Using an exercise bike that I picked up from "Free Bikes 4 Kidz - Morgantown" I'll have the perfect powerplant for my "Self Mayed, Self-Powered" generator, that I'll use for emergency lighting, and powering up essentials in my house!

Part 1 is the project overview of the components we'll need, and the fabrication of the motor mount/battery tray assembly!
