How to Long Weekend Canoe - 1st Time Solo Paddling

As part of Algoma Regions Whiskey Lake Loop, we embark on a 3 day long weekend canoe camp portage trip. The goal is to catch lake trout before the seasons closes and relax in the northern Ontario lifestyle. Don't forget with some added step twos to motivate us.

This really was a special trip. It was my first time solo in a canoe for the entire weekend. It was my second time EVER seeing northern lights. and it was one of many trips that included near family friendly fun. Unfortunately we failed at catching trout but managed to slay a couple bass !
