Should Preppers Have Canned Food in Their Food Storage?
This video is a segment of The Mind4Survival interview I did with Brian, where we discussed the pros and cons of canned food in our long-term food storage plans.
Preppers know the importance of stocking up on canned food for an emergency or natural disaster, but it shouldn’t be a majority of your food storage. As preppers always say, “Store what you eat, and eat what you store.”
Organize Your Canned Food Storage
Before you begin stocking up on canned goods, it’s important to get your food storage room organized. Designate a specific area of your home for food storage and organize your shelves or other containers to store the canned goods.
Consider creating labels for different types of food, such as grains, beans, vegetables, and meats. This will help you keep track of what’s in each container and save time when you need to find a given item quickly during an emergency situation.
