If you never give up... you might be stupid! (Do you lack self-reflection?)

If you never give up, chances are you are NOT a perseverant hustler
but you are just plain stupid. Research any successful person on this planet and you'll notice that they always gave up at some point. Bloomberg got booted out of his company - and ended up starting Bloomberg,
Ackman gave up his battle against Herbalife - he needed to free up capital. And ultimately he ended up placing what many call the greatest trade of all times, his CDS trade. And Peter Thiel gave up his hedge fund that was going nowhere - in order to build founder fund, one of the most successful vc funds in the world. So if you always keep going, no matter what - maybe that's not called perseverance - but 0 self-reflection.
