The disappearance of Dennis Martin

Dennis Lloyd Martin was a young child who disappeared on June 14, 1969, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. It occurred when he and his family were going out for their Father’s Day camping tradition. The search involved approximately 1,400 searchers. This search involved everything from boy Scouts to the Green Berets, to this day the search remains the largest in the Great Smoky Mountains National Parks history.
