Producer and LMU alum Barbara Broccoli made The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment: Power 100 list- the issue hit stands December 5th. It’s been a big year for London-based Broccoli, who presided over the production of the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall. Skyfall has grossed $797 million worldwide as of November 28, making it the most successful 007 flick of all time.

JESUIT HOLLYWOOD

Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television has announced the third installment of The Hollywood Masters, which kicks off in February with actor-writer-director Ethan Hawke (Boyhood, Before Sunrise), followed by Hollywood legends Clint Eastwood (American Sniper, Unforgiven) and Sean Penn (Milk, Mystic River).

The third season will also include some of Hollywood’s most distinguished artists, among them actor-director Kenneth Branagh (Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing), documentarian Ken Burns (The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, The Civil War), producer Gale Anne Hurd (the Terminator trilogy, The Walking Dead) and music legend Quincy Jones (The Color Purple, The Wiz).

The interview series, launched in February 2014, has included such major film artists as Hans Zimmer, Hilary Swank, Billy Bob Thornton, David O. Russell, Judd Apatow, Alfonso Cuarón and Sherry Lansing — all of whom have been interviewed at the LMU campus by award-winning journalist Stephen Galloway.
