Building a Hydrobucket RDWC system

Well this build took we some time to get all together as it was on the back burner. But you could do this build in a day or two at most of you had the time to devote just to it.
This is a waterfall recirculating sytem. Which means the water falls in the bucket from higher than the res level, helping aerate the liquid. There is a rerun Kim going to the main res coming out of the bottom of the buckets. This creates the cycling motion of liquid. Which again helps with aeration and keeping the liquid cool of your main res is outside the grow area in a cooler place. Or if you have added a chiller( which we recommend, and will be adding) in a dwc or rdwc system you need to keep the liquid temps below 20c to help prevent root rot. This is vital to a successful harvest.
W have added airstones to each bucket to also ensure there is plenty of air at the root zone for the plants. As even plant roots need oxygen and will essentially drown your plants if they do not get enough air. I believe 80gph of air PER plant is recommended. So we chose the @GeneralHydroponicsUS Dual diaphragm pumps to this sytem. Asas not o y
