Graceland by Paul Simon (Cover)

After watching the recent Baz Luhrmann 'Elvis' film I was left with a feeling of great sadness. This is compounded today with the news of the passing of Elvis' only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.

The connection between Elvis, Graceland, and Paul Simon's album is a little tenuous, but something about the feeling of this song reflects my imagined view of the Graceland lifestyle and what it symbolized, security, abundance, fullness. Sadly things which didn't provide much happiness at all.

I know 'Graceland' is singular and I am singing it wrong, I don't know why I always thought of it as 'Gracelands'.
