Annihilationism vs Eternal Torment (Revelation 21:8) 1 of 2
2 years ago

Does the Bible teach that the Lake of Fire is a place of annihilation (with the torment lasting anywhere from 'a moment' to 'billions of years') allowing the lost to pay for their sins and then CEASE to exist... OR even being 'reconciled' and end up in Heaven?
Or does the Bible teach that those who end up in the Lake of Fire remain 'for ever', suffering torment 'day and night'? If that's what it says, is that what it MEANS? And if that's what it says, how do false teachers attempt to get around that?
