Amy's Plan: Connect Churches and Farms
How Do We Win Against The Pending Food Shortages or Nano Tech in food?

With our fast-paced busy lifestyle, how do we get back to the land?
Personally, I don't have time to grow a garden for my family, so I spend all of my grocery budget with local farmers: one for meat, one for dairy and one for vegetables and another for fruit.

This is cumbersome for the average person. So, I have narrowed the focus with a duplicatable plan that you can start where you live.

1- Every willing church in the community adopts local farmers.
2- This gives the farmers instant customers and the parishioners instant food.
3 -We need to forge these relationships now before it's too late, we really don't know what Biden is planning to make us more dependent on Big Government.
4- Also we need to remember that Voting with our Dollars is extremely powerful. We need to stop giving money to the big box stores and bring it back to our communities.
5- How to implement this plan? Just ask!! First see if your Priest or Pastor is interested. Go to your local or regional Farmers Market and ask if any of the farmers will participate. So far, I have had zero resistance, most people understand that something is coming and they long for that old time community.

The way that has worked for St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Charles Town, WV is the farmers tell the church what was available early in the week. The church puts it on their website, the parishioners place their orders, and the farmer delivers it to the Church parking lot every Friday between 5-7. They started this in Covid and have been going strong for 2 years.

RESOURCES TO FIND LOCAL FARMS IN YOUR AREA
Go To: http://www.eatwild.com and http://www.localharvest.org
Both of these websites allow you to put in your location and they will list information about the farms.
What they have, location, phone numbers in some cases, even websites for you to check out or you can just search them out for more info. Keep in mind that they are not all organic or sustainable farms. You will have to hunt them down using some filters or methods of searching but it is a starting place. Also, you can do a search for “food co-ops in my area”.
