This is the moment the US Coast Guard takes part in another rescue carried out as a result of the extreme weather currently being experienced.
The footage shot on Tuesday shows a Coast Guard Air Station helicopter aircrew stationed out of Forward Operating Base Mugu successfully hoisted two CAL FIRE Firemen and a person who was trapped in their car from a swamped creek.
All three were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
The Coast Guard recommends that the public exercise caution during severe weather and follow local safety messages.
