Expanded pokemon sets is a set review series meant to cover pokemon sets that are only part of the expanded format. Since I wasn't making pokemon tcg videos during the time when they were new I'll be looking at them as part of the expanded format today but I'll also talk about thier significance in the meta during the time they were fresh.

Plasma Freeze was one heck of a sequel set, as with its availability it brought in even better plasma pokemon and trainers and plasma decks became serious meta. Even so I would say this set shines best with collectors seeing as plasma freeze has some of the most sought after secret rare cards from the era.
