US Air Force Pilot Demonstrates Flight In F-16 Fighter Jet In Mission Generation Exercise

This footage shows a US Air Force pilot demonstrating a flight in a fighter jet while on a mission generation exercise.

In-flight footage shows Airman 1st Class Steven Cardo operating an F-16C Fighting Falcon and performing a series of manoeuvres to test the aircraft's wings' abilities on 5th January.

The F-16 is a highly-manoeuvrable multi-role fighter aircraft that can perform missions in any type of weather conditions that was designed for the US Air Force.

Airman Cardo carried out the flight demonstration at Shaw Air Force, South Carolina, USA - home of the largest combat F-16 fighting wing.

The images were obtained by Newsflash by Airman 1st Class Steven Cardo from the US Air Force, along with a statement that said: "Numerous fighter aircraft assigned to Shaw participated in a mission generation exercise demonstrating the wing’s ability to generate overwhelming airpower anytime, anywhere."
