Even though over the past four years CD's case has been reported all over the USA, and featured in some major documentaries, draconian court orders have kept a publication ban in force on Canadian media. They force CD to remain anonymous, and to keep his child, the doctors and therapists involved in this case anonymous as well. They go so far as to force CD to refer to his OWN child by their chosen gender pronouns by threat of going back to jail.
