FAA Grounds All Flights After Critical System Failure of NOTAM - Canada Also Affected Hours After!

The United States and Canada suffered outages of their NOTAM system today. The FAA system outage was resolved around 9:00am EST and then about 30 minutes later the Canadian system went down. Coincidence or something else? The critical FAA system provides pilots with real time updates on flight conditions and safety issue. The FAA grounded all flights for almost two hours this morning.
