House passes bill to try and preserve the life of infants that survive an abortion

House Republicans passed a born-alive abortion bill. The bill would require a healthcare provider to preserve the life of a baby born alive during an attempted abortion. Intentionally killing an infant born alive is already considered homicide in the U.S.
