On December 27th, 2019, Newport News police officers arrived at the home of Henry Berry. Their plan was to arrest him for abusing the 911 system. Mr. Berry refused to exit his apartment and the officers rushed inside. Mr. Berry resisted the officers’ attempts to subdue him and he is killed during the scuffle. Was his killing justified?
