Kevin McCarthy becoming Speaker may mean lowering the defense budget. Speaker of the House. And some of the deals he had to do with hard-line Republicans apparently include lowering the massive recent Pentagon budget. Sorry, I must be reading that wrong… surely the Democrats are the anti-war party? WRONG!
