Florida Adventure Trail | Ep 3 | Sidetracked: On the Trails in Apalachicola National Forest

Another awesome day overlanding and off-roading the trails of the Florida Adventure Trail (F.A.T.). We started this dat from Cliff Lake Camp, which is right off the FAT trail. This campground is a wide open field that surrounds a lake located in Apalachicola National Forest. No reservation was needed. There are trees for cover in some spots, but the setting is awesome. There was a port-a-potty here, but I am not sure if it is always there, or there just because it is hunting season.

We enjoyed our morning getting packed up, and after a good cup of coffee and a healthy breakfast we set off on the trails.

We call this episode a "Sidetracked" episode, because it was about exploring. There was so much to do, and not enough time to do it, so we felt that we could take this day to explore. We will have many more trips to finish out the FAT.

We had a pretty bad storm overnight, so the tails were wet, and there was plenty of water to drive though.
