On this episode seventeen of Esoteric America we set our sights a place that Tara and I call home, New Haven, CT. We dive into this area's past and talk about some of the local lore surrounding a strange looking mountain, and others in the region. We discussed the various tribes and the first war between colonists and the Native Americans who were led by Metacomet a Wampanoag Chief whose legend is preserved along with his namesake given to Metacomet Ridge, this is just the beginning of our dive into an incredibly fascinating place.
