Oak Hill Church of Christ member, Steve Parsons, delivers a service-length message that delves into the stories behind some hymns that have been part of the Church for a very long time.

Though singing hymns and praises has long been a part of worship, and is something that God himself finds important and an inseparable part of the community faith experience for the Christian, sometimes we may find ourselves participating in the singing element of worship without much thought.

As well, we may find ourselves being ignorant of the meaning behind the songs or the lives of beloved children of God who labored through suffering and strife in order to produce such lovely music.
