Hi folks today I’m going to teach you how to make yourself a remote control submarine in this case I’m going to build it using only recycle parts I get from my shop my plan is to stay as cheap as possible

The main part of these projects it’s a container made in aluminum that came from an old iron I’m talking about the steam tank boiler this is made in aluminum and can stand without problems six bars of pressure which is enough to stay underwater for about 50 m

This container will protect old electronics and batteries most interesting part of this underwater drone is the way I want to control it I’m going to recycle an old keyboard this keyboard is usually used to control security cameras like dome Ifcameras

The most interesting part of this procedure of the keyboard is that this keyboard use very interesting protocol of communication between the keyboard and the circuit board of the camera control security units

It’s possible to use only two very thin cables call copper cables to push a signal up to 1200 m
This is a protocol cold RS 485 it’s like a binary code that travels through to a very thin copper cables up to the circuit boards that convert the signal in to actions this circuitboard is capable of closing relays which then push electric signal to the Reale motor

The motor in this case or two propellers on the back and one propeller in the middle that came from old pumps from Little ponds or lakes

This is very cheap pumps can push enough water to give enough force the submarine the propeller itself came from a remote control toy boat and three propellers or enough to on the back for pushing the submarine back and forward or twisting it on the light right in the on the left
I want a propeller in the front in the center is used to push the submarine up-and-down the plan is to use the submarine like a real airplane on the water so they can control all the directions in this case my submarine has installing the front of her interesting camera at 360 view camera which gives me the chance to see all around the submarine what’s happening I even spot couple of fishes and an old fishing rod and also garbage under the lake in this case the lake is a beautiful place in the north of Eataly it’s called lago orfù
