#Daamn (well, that was offensive) w/ #DaamnKam - #RecoveryIsDiscoveryIsRecovery (#DontJustØbey)

Why it is? Im Kam. I am working on a relatively short written excerpt from the perspective of a 28 year old, left leaning “progressive”, new father (recovering addict/alcoholic ) & how my political identify has been heavily shaped during the course of the last few presidential elections.

I feel like there’s more people out there like me who are “liberals” but see the tyranny behind the ‘politically correct’ veil; there is lot of ‘elitist’ influence over the whole damn system both sides of the isle & whatever’s behind those curtains. It is my aim to initiate discussion amongst like-minded free thinkers.
Free thinker as opposed to independent thinker; a little bit more about myself, (having been raised with no particular faith), I’d say grace with dinner & ask a lot of questions about every denomination & so on. Thus I believe I am not alone in this identity crisis of sorts. I’ve inevitably formed an identity of my own now, ground floor based around said family values, (my father a retired 30 year SeattlePD detective), A Democrat but more conservative than my Chinese-American mother. Pretty typical middle class household 2 kids a dog & we owned our home (mortgage). Childhood is full of blessed memories & laughs that juxtaposed against the thicker, clumsier edges of Being that only start to make themselves known as the innocence of childhood recedes. Ahh.... The human experience; reality begins creeping more & more as time flows forward, like an ocean of potential who's waves are continuously breaking against the firm, fully formed shore. A dance between mapped out land & the uncharted waters of the unknown. At an early age I had a recollection
I believe myself to be an inquisitive minded, intelligent American & I feel as if my own party has abandoned me. As a brand new father to a beautiful 5 month old son, a Hawaii / Washingtonian small business owner- what matters to me is the present & our future - (which means the past matters too!)
We learn from history.

Y’all have helped Us exponentially with opinions & advice *from experience. Our only son is almost #kindergarten age; shot this in 2014 & wasn’t going to release it; only deciding now it would be wrong not to. ~{1min clip}Looking for honest Thoughts(?) -thanks again to the members *& the admins who’re working hard to keep the page up & distinguish between’rubbish’ & ‘real’ (this is real, promise!) We want to get the conversation going! ‘Where’ it happens isn’t ‘as’ important! We understand some of this groups members have made pages & share (*relevantly) from them directly on here, for Us! We believe it is by connecting, (open discourse / sharing resources), that we can organize, it is by organizing that we can strategize & it’s by strategizing we can collectivize ! Our sons mom, who is still making horrendous allegations, [Lies], (new ones), almost 2 years after she had Us, (Son’s Father), legally removed (?) [She didn’t provide 1 exhibit in court to back up any of her claims-still got order] -Causing Us to get passionately involved with #FathersRights
*Many people are a little narcissistic, especially addicts like Us! -some more than others & some are a truly diagnosable #narcissist, #Narcissistic Personality : a disconnect between emotion & action. More specifically, folks with NPD are more prone to sufficiently ‘mirror’ people into liking them (‘mirroring’ is an act of imitating the behaviors one believes the other to find desirable in themselves), causing them to unknowingly ‘fall in love with themself.) Those with NPD have trouble identifying their own role in things, seeing how their behavior emotionally effects those around them, tracing real-life ‘effects’ back to any particular ‘causes’. Often compartmentalize &/or use some aspect, some ‘facet in fact’, to manipulate the creation of an ongoing false narrative. (Sprinkle it with truth so it’ll go down as such.)
However elaborate, a large majority of what We’ve read/seen/heard from her (about Us) -is not true!
Plain & simple; We stay quiet because there’s not much point in the alternative (with his mother). Consequent information in new light; Our son is being raised by a very, ‘spiritually sick’ person.
Wondering, worried Beyond words… Never. Ever. And what else is she capable of fabricating (?) Truthfully , we’ve no idea as We’re now prohibited from even seeking pictures of him 🥺 We’ve no recent Knowledge of Our son (or her).
What We do know - & write this to acknowledge-
*Her conduct since conception has put Our son in jeopardy. Facts. This conduct, like mine before Us, is not healthy for the little one…
