Marc Bushala is an entrepreneur experienced in real estate, marketing, media, and food and beverage. He’s founded the private equity firm MAB Capital Management and was CEO of Angel’s Envy Bourbon.

Marc Bushala founded MAB Capital Management, a closely held private equity firm, to invest in and re-develop industrial, commercial and retail properties. MAB Capital has invested more than $100 million in real estate in Chicago’s River North, West Loop and Ravenswood neighborhoods and is currently developing two mix-use projects in Nashville, TN.

In 1994, Bushala and Sir Bob Geldof co-founded Atomic Entertainment Group. Atomic specialized in the creation and operation of food & beverage, entertainment and media enterprises in Central Europe. Atomic owned the first native language music television channel in Poland and Romania, called “Atomic TV”, multiple restaurant concepts and chain of family entertainment centers.

In 2000, Bushala co-created and launched a marketing services holding company called “The Radiate Group” as a division of the global advertising and marketing group, Omnicom . As Group President with responsibility for strategy and acquisitions globally, Bushala led the acquisition of 30 agencies in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America, resulting in consolidated revenues of nearly $500 m.

Bushala co-founded and served as CEO of Angel’s Envy Bourbon, created with legendary Master Distiller, Lincoln Henderson. The Spirits Journal rated Angel’s Envy Cask Strength the #1 Spirit in the World in 2013. Angel’s Envy was sold to Bacardi in 2015. In 2016, Bushala partnered with Bob Dylan to create a super-premium whiskey brand called “Heaven’s Door”. Heaven’s Door was ranked the #1 selling American whiskey on line in 2019 and the #1 Whiskey and #1 Spirit in the World by the London International Spirits Competition. Bushala is also the CEO of Playboy Spirits, a new joint-venture with Playboy Enterprises and oversees the strategy and investments of Spirits Investment Partners LLC and XL Ventures LLC, which have invested over $125 million in the spirits sector over the past six years,

Bushala’s Food & Beverage group, Atomic Hospitality, owns and operates the acclaimed “Untitled Supper Club” in River North, “Recess”, “Tabu” and “Babel”, as well as special event venues “Morgan MFG”, “City Hall” and “Atrium Events”.
