Is RESIDENT EVIL 6's story as BAD as I remembered?

Baffled Buffoon wanted to relive Resident Evil 6 and determine once and for all - is the story just plain BAD?? Let's review this sucker with a reaction, originally recorded December 31st as a (strange) way to ring in the new year! 2023 is off to an interesting start.
It'll be interesting to see if RE4 Remake changes (or updates ) its story to lead into RE6 more, or if the plot won't feature any new or extra scenes whatsoever - aside from MAYBE Assignment Ada
