Bellevue beach resort Panglao Bohol. @welcome.abroad features our review of Bellevue beach resort in Panglao, Bohol in the Philippines. The aim of this video is to show a relaxing walkthrough/walking tour of this resort and to rate its quality. READ BELOW FOR FULL REVIEW

@thebellevuehotelsresorts5511 is in an ideal secluded location on Doljo Beach overlooking the Cebu Strait, this upmarket hotel surrounded by tropical forest is 21 km from Tagbilaran Airport. The resort is a 10 minute walk from Moadto strip mall.

OPINION: We enjoyed our 3 days at Bellevue, we had already been staying in Henann Resort prior to this, and we was pleased that the high quality we experienced there was also continued here! We think the staff was most friendly at Bellevue, we even got a nice free necklace upon arrival.
ROOMS: the rooms were luxurious, the Basic rooms were larger than that of other resorts in Bohol, and thanks to the unique building design, all rooms has a coastal view with a huge porch (Request a room on the right side of the resort facing the ocean, it looks better). We had a problem with our fridge, but the staff quickly replaced the fridge within minutes of request (Staff refused our a tip as it was "their error" - I respect that).
AMENITIES: Not as big as resorts such as Henann, only has 1 pool which weirdly has a 12ft deep section. Beach has limited shade, unlike Henann which has shade from Coconut trees. But Bellevue made up for it by having the huge Nipa hut with lovely views from the top (3:29)...and one of the best viewing points in Bohol, the tower shown at 11:40 | We was pleasantly surprised by the resort providing FREE canoes and kayaks (2:50). The resort was also only 10min walk from Moadto Strip Mall (9:00). There is also a games room and child play area below ground floor at the Nipa hut.
FOOD: In our opinion, the food is the downfall of Bellevue. In comparison to other 5-star resorts such as Henann, the food options were limited, particularly the Breakfast Buffet. In our opinion all meals were too expensive for what was on offer.
OVERALL: Bellevue is worth it for its quiet private beach and easy access to the Whale sharks. You can easily catch a 40min boat ride from the resort to swim with Whale sharks! or if you prefer, Island hopping and snorkelling
