Imperial Conquest~ Mission 4, Clash at Mogogo

With the destruction of Fort Helios, the Earth Resistance began massive expansions within the Sahara, in an attempt to mask their true goal in ferrying troops into space, by chasing down retreating Imperial forces that had failed to regain control of Helios a day earlier, or attack Imperial positions as a whole in order to make the Galactic Empire believe that the assault on Helios is that of an Earth Counterattack and Invasion of Imperial Occupied Africa.

The expansion was an a strategy in order to by time for the Earth Resistance boarding parties to launch into space, after a delay slowed down the flow of supplies of equipment needed for the attack.

As a result to the delayed launch, the Earth Resistance divided its forces, sending them in 2 directions, one to chase down the Imperial forces from Galagor, while another was sent to continue hammering the Imperial presence in the area, leading to Mogogo, a region in Libya, that the Imperials were attempting to construct a fortress in the area. Despite having a good start at first, the Imperials counterattacked the Earth Resistance, destroying most of their armor, and forcing them back through the region, fortunately, Mogogo also happens to be the spot, where Viper Squad is heading in as well.
