Less than five kilometers to the Russian border. Six months of occupation and the long-awaited liberation. Vovchansk, Kharkiv region - after the de-occupation, the Russian army shells around the clock. Mostly from artillery and mortars. They fire at houses and infrastructure. The goal is to de-energize the city and deprive its residents of heating, electricity, and water supply. Vovchansk is the only city in Ukraine where gas was supplied directly from the Russian Federation. Now from the Russian side - the damper is closed. Since the end of October 2022, residents of Vovchansk and sixteen villages have been left without gas supply.
