One huge trait that Alaskan people have is that they know how to live off the land and make and build stuff. It makes them resourceful and allows them to save money. John is no exception to that, and he knows just about how to do anything to survive. On this video John turns some scrap lead and melts it down to make fishing weights for his fishing charter business. This is just another way to save a little money and be resourceful in Alaska.
