I would suggest using at least a USB 3.0 with minimum of 8 gigabytes. But Keep in mind, you can go back and add images to this drive and boot from them. Just create an .iso from Microsoft and then copy the image such as windows 10 to the USB. You can place as many as you want, that is why I suggest going with a 32 or 64 gigabyte USB.
