"PR Tactics" Influencing Behaviour through Nudging (Face masks)
1
In an interview in January 2023 Professor of Microbiology David Livermore and journalist Nina Myskow debate the issue of mask wearing and the return of mandatory restrictions to keep us "safe". The debate echoes previous arguments discussed in 2020, 2021 and 2022 about the need for masks and the imposition of social distancing and mandatory isolation to save the NHS. Forcing the viewer to feel responsible for others.
Journalist Nina Myskow continuously introduces scenarios where a person is perceived to be in danger if they do not wear a mask, even using ridiculous comparisons of a condom to push her point "nudging" the viewer to take her side.
