Created May 11 2020: In today's episode I construct an enclosure (that looks like an outhouse) around the dust collection bags at our woodworking shop.

Hi there, my name is Arne and I perform facilities maintenance at a multi-campus K-12 school in Langley, BC. With nearly 1300 students and 200 staff, three schools and various other outbuildings, there's always something to do.

March 2019: The pandemic hit, everyone left for Spring Break, and nobody came back; all the teaching staff started working from home, leaving me on-site, working alone. They had a tough adjustment, especially in the beginning. In the interest of letting teaching staff, and students know what's happening at school, I put together this video for them to enjoy and hopefully lighten their day a little bit.

I love my job; not only does the work I do benefit many, every day brings new challenges, which keeps me on my toes and in problem-solving mode.

Stay safe and be kind to one another!
