Pray for Wisdom and Direction

Today and for this New Year with or without resolutions we are going to enter into prayer praying for wisdom and direction. Turn in your Bibles to James chapter 1, verse 5. It reads, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Verse 6 says, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

There is no question—we are living in unprecedented times—a time, as the Bible says, where Sin has become exceedingly sinful and I’m Not talking just sexual sin but ALL manner of Sin unashamedly and rampantly believing their actions, words and lifestyles are inconsequential, at least in the here and now. We are literally in that time right now. If you look at the state of our world and the condition of our world, it can feel overwhelming, confusing and unsettling even as others are brainwashed and complacent or conspirators. Integrity, Loyalty and Honesty…what’s that?

There is no such thing as job security anymore. The cost of living has increased, where people are having to make decisions between putting gas in the car or food on their table. Can’t afford diapers and even if you could, there’s none to buy along with many other needs because of the supply chain, logistics and transportation CRISES. Airlines gone crazy or belly up. Inundated with Illegal Aliens, Crazies and Homeless. Abortions Killing more humans before birth followed by Both Illegal and Legal Drugs, while Big Pharma builds billionaires off folk’s miseries. We are surrounded by so much bad news, fake news, so much bad press and wars and rumors of wars… Nuclear at that.

And now, more than ever before, it is crucial to hear and understand the heart of our Father. We need to recognize that communicating with GOD is relying on Him to give us the wisdom and direction and the resources that we need. He has everything that we need in His hand.

But we have to have faith in GOD, knowing that when we go before Him and ask Him for wisdom and direction that we have to know thatHe is willing and able to give us what we need. GOD requires unwavering faith from us. When you refuse to stand in faith, you will be moved by everything you hear and everything you see. Your flesh will respond to the bad news. Your flesh will respond to the condition of your environment.

This is why you need to pray in faith—because faith is like a rock. A rock is not moved by the wind and the waves. The rock is a solid foundation. No matter how windy it may get or how boisterous the winds of the seas may get, that rock is a firm foundation that will not be moved. That is your faith.

You have to have that type of faith in GOD and know that when you go before Him, regardless of the situation you find yourself in—if you go before GOD and ask for wisdom and direction to help you overcome the issues you are facing, He is willing, able and just to do exceedingly above more than you can ask or think.

So today I want to encourage you to take some time to reread the Scripture and pray to GOD. What ever you are facing or whatever you are going through, ask God to give you wisdom and direction and He will give you what you are asking for in His Name.

If ALL Hearts focused on Jesus, let us pray:
Father, my Loving Merciful GOD, i come before you with praise and worship for Your unmatched Love, Concern, Care, Forgiveness and Blessings that sustains me in every way despite the force-fed Sin in schools, TVs, Internet, Media, Government, Businesses, Military, News, Books, and Abominable Lifestyles in the world and even the Chyrch with Greed, Sex, Drugs, Crimes, Rapes, Murders and Terrorism… So Thank You for Your Unwavering Peace and Joy in the Eye of the Storms and with a humble spirit and bended heart i am praying for wisdom and direction to navigate and rise above my environment, circumstances and challenges for Your glory and Kingdom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
