January 7th, 2023 VAI'CHI-Shabbat

This is the last portion of the book of Genesis. The revelation here is in the name of the sons of Joseph. First born Manasseh and youngest Ephraim. They become spiritual children of Jacob (also named Israel in the spirit). Ephraim teaches us about the children of Israel returning back to God in the End. Ehpraim is also about all who are joined to Israel by faith in Messiah. Manasseh reminds us of our life without Messiah, as a sort of empty cursed life. Ephraim is about the double blessing in our lives when you follow God fully in all of His ways, times, seasons, holiness, and righteousness.
