Guinness Book of Records Tallest Living Man Sultan Kosen May Have a Challenger for World Record News
Sultan Kosen has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest living man since 2009. Standing at a towering 8 feet 2.8 inches tall, Kosen's growth spurt began at the age of 10 due to a tumor that damaged his pituitary gland, causing it to produce excessive amounts of growth hormone, a condition known as pituitary gigantism.
