Paddle Boarding at Meads Quarry Lake (Ijams Nature Center)

I went stand up paddle boarding at Meads Quarry Lake (part of Ijams Nature Center) with the goal of finding freshwater jellyfish. There is one species of freshwater jellyfish in the world, and they have been spotted at Meads Quarry before, but unfortunately I was unsuccessful. Meads Quarry Lake is private property, so you're not able to bring your own paddle boards, River Sports Outfitters is onsite to rent paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes. I personally rented the Badfish Monarch Inflatable Paddle Board, and loved it. Meads Quarry Lake is located just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, and is a rather popular place for paddle boarding and kayaking in the summer.
