Damar Hamlin's Situation Delivers Perspective and Gratitude

What happened to Damar Hamlin should cause us all to stop and reflect on our priorities. Football is a great game that brings entertainment and joy, and some other human emotions, to a lot of people.
That's all it is though - a game for entertainment. When someone's life is put in jeopardy it should sober us all a little bit.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Hamlin, his family, and teammates. We pray for a complete and speedy recovery. We want to see that young man live a long and fruitful life. It would be amazing for him if he's able to take the field again, but ultimately we pray for him to enjoy the beauties of life that we all pursue.
As football moves forward this week, we hope you all will enjoy it no matter what the outcome is. It's a beautiful game that has the power to bring us together in a world that is constantly trying to drive us apart. Enjoy being together. Enjoy another weekend of entertaining football. Enjoy and appreciate each other. Even the Vikings fans... We know they're obnoxious but we love them and we would be bored without them.
