Cardi B documented a DIY hair mask that she used on her and Kulture, giving their locks some serious moisture. In addition to the mother-daughter bonding time, her before and after pics really tell the full story of what a good hair mask can do. Let’s get into Cardi B’s hair mask and why it works so well below.

Cardi points out that if something is good for you, it’s good for your hair. You wouldn’t add soda to your mane, for example, but it’s safe to go wild with avocados. After blending the concoction together in a blender (“shake the table”) until it is totally smooth, she applies the Cardi Cream to Kulture’s freshly washed hair, allowing it to bring out her daughter’s perfect little curl pattern. “This treatment is really good for curl patterns,” says Cardi who admits her hair does not get curly at all, but she still needs the moisture. “It’s a good hair mask to help your hair grow—anything that’s good for your body you can put in your hair,” she continues.
Once the mask sets in and Cardi’s hair is fully dried, her hair is shiny and clearly mega healthy. “Treat your hair ladies,” she says.
