I mean, think about it. If you're truly intelligent, you shouldn't have to pretend to be. You should just be confident in your knowledge and skills. It's like when people say "I'm not arrogant, I'm just confident." No, you're arrogant. Just admit it and maybe try being a little humble.

And have you ever noticed how people are always saying "I'm not boring, I'm just predictable"? It's like, if you have to explain it, you're probably boring. It's like when someone says "I'm not dull, I'm just consistent." No, you're dull.
