Terrified rescue dog go to Tractor Supply store

I rescued Peaches a few months ago from a guard dog trainer. He said he couldn’t bring out her aggressive side. Today was her first trip to town. She was afraid in the parking lot. Then froze coming through the doors. I reassured her then had to pull her on inside. I reassured her again but she was shaking all over. I lead her to the back of the store where there was less activity. She settled down after meeting a few people. It was a the grand opening for the Tractor Supply store. Everyone was so nice. All the employees had treats in their pockets for all of the dogs there. Peaches wouldn’t take any treats but began to enjoy the attention. I will be taking her back to work on going in the doors.
