This 1986 OVA follows the first arc of the manga or Season One of the television series, with some changes, such as Kenshiro's friend Rei having more of his own combat standoffs, and meeting certain characters such as Heart at a different location (Heart guarded Shin instead of Jaggi in both manga and TV series.
