Imperial Conquest~ Mission 1, Sandstorm Strike

3 Years following the Empire's conquering of Earth, the entire planet has been governed by the Galactic Empire and Occupied militarily, until plans for Annexation into the Galactic Empire could be made, with the worlds armies completely obliterated and the Empire destroying all attempts at keeping Earth from defending itself, majority of the surviving nation armies and citizens would be forced to abandoned their nations by the month of October in 2020, leading to birth of the Earth Resistance a year later on the continent of Antarctica, the only plot of land left on Earth that is not controlled by the Empire. For the next 3 years, the Earth Resistance attempted to try and launch counterattacks against the Galactic Empire in hopes of reclaiming their home nations, but each attempt would end in failure, with the biggest disaster occurring in Ukraine in 2023.

With moral severely low within the remaining citizens of Earth who now populate Antarctica, a new plan was formed in one last desperate attempt to turn the tide of the war against the Empire, one which would eventually lead to history being made as the first time that Earth military units would send troops into space. The Operation would be known as Orbital, a new counter offensive that was created and thought up by American Colonel William Chanler in the year 2024. The Operation was unleashed on May 14th, 2024 when the Earth Resistance was able to sneak an entire Army, the largest of the entire Earth Imperial War into Imperial Occupied North Africa, where they launched a surprise attack against Fort Helios, the largest Imperial military instillation on Earth, using the destructive and catastrophic sandstorm that was plaguing the Sahara Desert as their cover.

The goal was to capture Helios and steal 2 Tyderrium Dropships that were stationed there, and use them to ferry troops into space in order to assault the Imperial Super Corvette in Orbit known as the Sidiousus.

Though the attack would go without a hitch, a small force would be sent over 15 miles away, toward a long range Imperial communication outpost where they would attack the area in order to prevent the Imperial's North Africa forces from finding out about the offensive, which if done correctly would prove vital for the Earth Resistance in the Sahara, Operation Sandstorm would not only be crucial towards the progression of Operation Orbital, but It would also be the first time in the entire war that the newly established Earth Resistance Militia Legion would ever see war against the Empire.
