Trevor Bauer DFA'd Ahead of 2023 Season, Dodgers Fumble Communications One Final Time

Even with $22.5 Million remaining on the deal, the Los Angeles Dodgers Designated Trevor Bauer for Assignment on Friday, but that wasn't the final bit of news to come out of the situation.

There was a meeting between the two parties ahead of this announcement and by some accounts, there was optimism about bringing the 31-year old Cy Young award winner back into the Dodger fold. Ultimately, we know how it worked out though.

By this Thursday, Bauer will either be traded or released and be out on the free market. Will anyone take a chance on a world-class pitcher in his prime, or will they cuck to "pressure" from dyed hair weirdos that don't know the difference between a beach and baseball?
