[ Battle of Soledar ] Russia captured 60% of Soledar ; 2nd force invaded into northern part of city

Update from the Bakhmut Front: Russian forces had managed to captured the center part of Soledar; forcing the fighting to enter into the northern half of the city itself.

Just as this happen, the Russian forces that had broke out of Yakovlivka and had been advancing towards Soledar from the east, finally entered into the northern part of the city the high rise residential buildings are.

Further up north, Russian forces had reached the outskirt of Silj, which the captured of town, will disconnect Bakhmut city from Siversk, and threaten the encirclement of the Ukrainian defenders that are still fighting within Soledar.

To the south, Russian forces are merely around 1km from Krasna Hora, and are already at the door steps of Pidhorodne.

All these advances are stopped abruptly, despite the successes, due to the Orthodox Christmas ceasefire declared by Russia; allowing Ukrainian forces to regroup and improve their collapsing lines.
