18 lbs Pork Butt Smoking on the Traeger | Smoked Meat Kingwood TX by Jeremy Williams

What a better way than to spend a Sunday with cooler temps and football than to smoke a couple of 9 lb bone-in pork butts from H-E-B on the Traeger. The smell is spreading from the backyard through the neighborhood here in Kingwood, Texas, the “Livable Forest”. Once cooked to an internal temp of 204 degrees with a consistent cooking temp of 250 degrees, they will be pulled off the smoker, wrapped, and allowed to rest for one hour prior to shredding.
The shredded smoked pork will be used for tostadas, tacos, enchiladas, baked potatoes, and sandwiches.
